Peter Sallis can't have much more left in him either, hopefully he'll pop it soon and they can end the bloody show once and for all.

I don't think the series will end, it's quite popular so I assume it's simply not for people of our age and it seems a bit sad that it's the only popular series to showcase older characters and has made a few characters legendary as Nora Batty is famous to people who hadnt even watched the show. I didnt realise another one had gone eariler in the year:

I was a bit surprised to see Edward de Souza pop up on Harry Hill over the weekend, he was another one I thought was dead, I had no idea he was in Corination Street. Mind, he looked like he might drop at any moment...
