I dunno who it is, but my friend has the original. I didn't know he was a real Transformer.

As far as all of these figures from all these new sets so far, some of them look awesome! Many props to Energon Starscream, Rodimus, Jetfire, Universe Skywarp, and many more!

King Atlas is Skyquake, isn't he? Also released as Machine Wars Starscream.

yeap, dead on Denyer - though Skyquake was a europe onlyTF from like 89 and part of the 'Preditors" if I remember right (and has a Fugly colour scheme)
From the accessories included (or in this case, not included) it looks like they went with the MW Starscream version to repaint.
I like the paint job though - really looks like they went for the dai atlas look - is he an autobot or decep?

Skyquake was released in Canada as well. Unless my parents flew to England to buy him for me for Christmas, that is...
And he isn't ugly at all. At least, he's a hell of a lot less ugly than King Atlas' robot mode. But MW Starscream is still by far the best paint job on that mold.
Skywarp, on the other hand, looks pretty damn good.

I like King Atlas and the Reissues (I have Rodimus, so I might avoid him, though). Have enough Jetstorms lying around because of RID repaints, and I don't like Demolisher at all, especially with the bed part just kinda chillin on top of him. I was hoping we'd get the Energon repaint (I don't like his PL repaint, so I was gonna get that one-may have to import).

I'm quite disappointed that I haven't seen too many minicons, and there haven't been any new minicon molds yet, just a retool.

But the focus of the series is shifting from finding minicons to defeating the decepticons before they get all the energon (novel idea for a TF cartoon I know). So there aren't going to be so many Minicons coming out

I just think they're unnecessarily ugly.

I'll concede that Highwire's better, but the others are far worse. Sureshock's alt mode is nice, but his robot mode totally ruins him. Grindor is . . . what is he, anyway, and his other mode? I'm gonna guess that he transforms from a pile of triangles, into a giant piece of robotic excrement (the shape's just right, and the little robotic bits hanging off is the only thing from allowing me to call it a regular piece of poo). Perceptor just looks like they just randomly dropped the figures on the table, and decided to engineer it to combine the way it landed. Too much crap sticking off him.
