TOP 3 G1 EPISODES
We all know the problems with G1. From it's continuity errors to it's animation errors, but lets celebrate the love.
Name your three favorite episodes from 1984-1987.
A few provisos: TF:TM is not included in this query, nor is Scramble City.
My Favorites:
MTMTE part 1
Microbots
Webworld

Come on and wind me up.
For me:
1. "Megatron's Master Plan, Part 2" -- where Trailbreaker gets his shining moment. No lines, terrible story, but a big ass forcefield.
2. "Secret of Omega Supreme" -- I have to admit that I did like this episode despite the conflicting continuity about the Constructicons' origins. I have to admit, I'm probably one of the few people who enjoys the way Omega Supreme usually talks in that abrupt, colon-filled style. I just wish it wasn't by his choice that he did it as a result of his programming.
3. "The Golden Lagoon" -- the special commentary about war was the part that made this for me. Also one of the few times the Decepticons came really close to being credible threats until 80's dumbassery took over.
Honorable Mentions: "Dark Awakening" but I found it sad due to the finality of the other Autobots after the mausoleum blew up in the star; "The Return of Optimus Prime" I thought should have been a good series finale instead of "Rebirth".

Thanks, Zeeks! Great job!

"Impervious"? That doesn't even make sense, though I do appreciate the reference to my all-time #1.....
1. Divide and Conquer
By far my favorite installment of any TF media. A compelling story from beginning to end, simple and elegant, with a number of great lines and a genuine sense that the good guys were THIS close to being obliterated, and not by some all-powerful being, either. A fantastic episode. "No one's ever really disabled as long as he has courage!"
2. Triple Takeover
