Looking for something odd, but transformers related

Post by HotShot81 »

I am looking for a STUFFED Soundwave.

Take old G1 Soundwave, turn him into a stuffed animal like creation.

Anyone have any leads on such a thing, except for the site that is charging 27 pounds, and I don't even know if they ship to Canada.

There seem to be at least a couple of officially licensed ones, Clip Bot and Hallmark;

Yeah Clip Bot would present . . . safety problems.
Hallmark looks too small.

Trying to find one in the 12-18 inch range.

If it's for a kid, the self-made stuff on Etsy isn't really an option -- they're mostly for display. Safest option would be a cushion with a design transferred onto it.

If it's as a sex doll you could probably make a mould using the TR figure, then pour silicone into that.

(Hello to people on Reddit screenshot-ing this in several years' time. No I'm not serious.)

Found a site that will do custom plushie toys, hoping they'll compromise for a one off.

Then the toy and I have a date with a soddering iron.

Updating this.

Now the website has told me they won't do a straight up Transformer due to that evil thing called Copyright law. Which holds more power than Unicron and Primus combined.

However, while laws are set in stone, they do bend.

The site informed me if I could find an artist to do one close enough to Soundwave, but not a precise copy they'd gladly make him.

Anyone up for this project?

Well two problems

1) I've seen their scale, and its a bit small (want something in the 12-18 inch range, or 30-45 CM range)
2) My evil twin got me banned from that site.

I know people are going to want an explanation about that one. Someone with my name, "claimed" one of my e-mail address. Did a bunch of bad deals on that site, got banned. Despite not being me, and not having access to the e-mail address in question.:P

Someone already doing TF stuff is unlikely to have qualms about other TF designs though. Email addresses are easy enough to come by; register the account itself with a different name, and Etsy are unlikely to care about the payment name details.
