Met at TV21 in Manchester, had a couple there, and then went to the Deansgate pub on...Deansgate funnily enough.
Talking, laughing, getting on etc. We try to get into Dpercussion, but fail. Miserably. She asks us if I fancy a house party. I say yes. So we end up in a house in Chorlton, and the night passes with drinking, smoking and me playin guess who particularly badly.
We then go back to her friends house to carry on the drinking, smoking and talking etc.
Anywho, we're going to the Doctor Who exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry tomorrow, which should be good.

Should all go well in the fullness of time, I shall inform you!
You know that friend who moved up here, maybe you could come and visit him before the 5th November and I can show you round? And are those 8th Doc books still available?
Hopefully I'll be up before then, various alcohol related duties in the home town have kept me from being up to see him already (including a hen night). All the books are still yours for when I do.
Actually, we should sort out some sort of modern day Bergerac [The french one, not the one who's face looks like Jersey) thing for when you go round this museum. Wear a mike and I'll feed you lots of amazing Who facts to impress her with ("That's the very Tardis prop Mather Waterhouse once vomited on").
In the end it wasnt needed.Walked round, had a few photos taken, got sucked into the black hole (aka The Shop), got three packs of top trumps and drank all afternoon/evening/night until11.30 ish.
All of which included first kiss. A kiss which didnt come with a free slap, so I'm happy. To think I was worried.
Its kinda hard (was that deliberate? I'll let you decide) seeing as I'm in Failsworth and she be in Altrincham. However, the meeting of friends is progressing well. After watching Hairspray at the AMC last night, we got onto the subject of our parents.
Basically, the parents of both of us seem quite happy that we've found each other, if that makes sense. Her mum has said that I can be invited round. Which means, according to Katie, that she would pounce on me, and go all faux-posh. Katies gonna surprise em so that they are in their PJ's when I am brought round. Her dad is Scottish, and he WILL do the whole "angry Scottish dad what are your intentions with my daughter" thing. Would a funny or serious answer work there? Something to think over.
Once our kid (no, we dont have a kid. Thats Manc slang for "younger sibling") has moved out, I shall be inviting her round here. There is an ever growing list of films I have to watch and I cant really do that in a bedroom full of stuff of mine that I cant fit into the loft as me bro's stuff is there.
Anywho, its all going well, progress is being made, and I will at one point in the near future ask if she would like to be me girlfriend. I really do like Katie.
Its been good as, usually, I jump in feet first. This time, its been different as we've been spending time together, getting to know each other, and its all been happening quite naturally. We were outside of Sinclairs Oyster Bar in town last Wednesday, and we got talking how we had met (doctor who, if anyone missed that bit). I said I was hooked, leaned in and kissed her. Its gone from there, holding arms, linking etc. I wouldnt have changed anything thats happened.
