I wish to clarify a few points:

a) The reasons for my recent absence were personal. Unconnected to any member of the board and/or their behaviour.

b) I took a break from the board for what I have cited above, and because I had grown slightly disillusioned with certain areas of the fandom, and felt that you needed something to kick you up the arse and wake you all up.

c) "Yeahahahahahahahahaaaaaa" mean anything to you? Yes, that's right. I am Queeg.

d) The reasons for my return are personal (cf a). There were a few people who I discussed several things with whilst I was gone, which helped clear my head. They know who they are, and I thank them.

e) I never said I was leaving permanently. Aside from my comments about the state of the board, the only things I said were "I'm gone" and "goodbye". Clear?

f) I was an admin before I departed, I remained an admin whilst I was gone, and am still an admin now. I did NOT come back because I was offered the position.

g) mkay0 rocks. Honest bloke. But sympathy is spelt with a "y"
